Beauty. (In loving memory of my Grandma.)

This slideshow is dedicated to Asbestos [Original Song]” href=”http://peoples-blog.vdhdesigns.com/asbestos-original-song/”>my grandma. She passed away December 22. She was only 60.
She had lung cancer and she fought it long and hard but in the end the cancer won. She was loved by many and loved greatly in return. She will be greatly missed.

She was born October 21, 1947 and she passed away December 22, 2007.

This verse was in the funeral card. I thought it was beautiful so I’m including it.

In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away,
You suffered much in silence,
You fought so hard to stay.
You faced your task with courage
But still you kept fighting
Until the end.
God saw you getting tires
When a cure was not to be.
He put his arms around you,
And whispered “come with me.”
So when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful, free from pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

This is for you grandma. You always loved nature. I’ll always remember you smiling while you tended your garden.

The song is Shadow of the Day by Linkin Park. It was played during the funeral.
I got all my pictures from Google search engine.
