CSI Toy Tainted With Asbestos

Young fans of the popular TV series “CSI” who own the CSI Fingerprint Examination Kit, complete with crime scene tape and magnifying glasses, may have been exposed to tremolite asbestos. The kit for kid detectives came with fingerprint dust and miniature brushes. Random samples revealed that the dust contained as much as 7% asbestos.
