The odd thing is the same insurers which Dr Abernethy’s legal firm of Simpson & Marwick represent, also insure the asbestos victims lawyers and most of the Scottish Government including Kenny MacAskill’s Justice Department which sponsored the Damages (Scotland) Bill.
