Are you sick? Were you exposed to asbestos? Unfortunately, asbestos was commonly used in the 1980′s and millions of people were exposed to it. Today, we understand the risks that are involved when working with asbestos but we did not have this understanding when people were exposed to it every day. A common theory today is that companies were aware of the risks, dangers, and effects asbestos had on people working with it daily but did not warn their employees of the dangers involved. They did nothing to help protect the interests, health, and lives of their employees.
